[prMac.com] San Francisco, California - Tav Shande is pleased to announce the World's first face rating app, Vanity, has been selected as one of the World's best apps by The Sunday Times in London. Writers and experts from the Sunday Times have hand picked the 500 best apps in the world & published their list known as the App List. The List is your definitive guide to must-have games, tools and distractions for your iPhone, iPad, BlackBerry, Android, Windows Phone 7 or tablet.
Vanity(TM) uses The Vanity Engine(TM) which incorporates Fibonacci's Golden Ratio to calculate facial attractiveness by allowing users to mark key facial features and measure against this ratio. Mathematicians, scientists, and naturalists have known this ratio for years. It's derived from something known as the Fibonacci sequence, named after its Italian founder, Leonardo Fibonacci. According to scientists, facial attractiveness played a major role in shaping human evolution, and it can now finally be easily measured using Vanity(TM) on your iPhone and Android phone.
Vanity for iPhone has opened up new ways for more than 85 million iPhone iOS device users to calculate facial attractiveness and share the results with friends. Vanity for iPhone is an experience that offers the same simplicity, ease-of use, and quality our users have come to expect from tavshande.com, combined with an elegant design and innovation so loved by Apple's many customers worldwide.
