According to legend it was founded by Albert Einstein during his childhood. Also, there is a perception that it was used to test Einstein's assistants on the candidates ability to think logically. Sometimes referred to as the author of the puzzle by Lewis Carroll. Nevertheless, there is no evidence that Einstein came up with the problem, or Lewis Carroll.
