[prMac.com] Bedford, Massachusetts - Hextoys LLC has announced that their first game, Hexchange 1.0, is available exclusively for iPhone and iPod touch.
A modern take on a challenging classic, Hexchange is a stimulating edge-matching puzzle consisting of a set of seven hexagonal pieces. The player places a center piece, then moves and rotates six surrounding pieces so that the colors of all touching edges match. Players may choose from a selection of decorative symbols to customize the pieces. A hint is available to get the player started, if needed. A solver is also included so the player (or their cat) can watch Hexchange find a solution! Hexchange provides 120 sets of pieces, so players can enjoy many hours of play.
"The product has already sold in five countries" said co-founder Kris Noland, "we are pleased at the initial response." Co-founder Chuck Mock added, "We like to think our craftsmanship approach to this app is responsible, at least in part, for the success." Our favorite review thus far: "Thanks for sucking up all my free time."
