April 13, 2012 in Utility (E)
[prMac.com] London, United Kingdom - Tricky Duck today introduces RocketDocs 1.0 for Mac OS X, their new Utility designed as a lightweight Google Docs Client, which allows users to open Google Docs in a separate application from the menu bar as well as from the Dock. As a standalone application, independent of any web browser, RocketDocs consolidates and organizes all the features of Google Docs in a single window, allowing users to create new documents, open recent documents, preview documents, and share documents with one mouse click or one touch of the trackpad using Lion's Multi-Touch Gestures.
According to Google, "Google Docs is a suite of products that lets you create different kinds of online documents, work on them in real time with other people, and store your documents and your other files - all online, and all for free. With an Internet connection, you can access your documents and files from any computer, anywhere in the world. (There's even some work you can do without an Internet connection!)"
RocketDocs allows the user to go to the menu bar, access the app's drop-down menu and instantly create a new Document, Presentation, Spreadsheet, Form, Table, or Drawing. Also available from the convenient menu is a list of all the most recently opened Google Docs documents from which the user can choose and quickly open any one.
RocketDocs is a user-friendly application for the users of Mac OS X Lion, supporting full screen mode. In addition, the app has tabs for easy navigation, supports hotkeys to easily switch between documents, and includes click and drag for easy editing within and between documents. Perfectly integrated with every feature and function of Google Docs, RocketDocs lets users view, preview, edit, sort, and share all their Google Docs documents from a single window.
