[prMac.com] Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - A week after "age of Swipe Lite" was released, Illogical released "Age of Swipe" version 1.2 and "Age of Swipe lite" version 1.1. While the lite version received its first update since its release last week, this is a second update for the paid version. This update adds several new feature, UI improvements, and balance changes.
What's new in this update:
* UI improvement- added "how to play"
* UI improvement- moved score, pause button so no longer blocked by iAds
* balance change- changed some score value
* balance change- slightly increased difficulty
Age of Swipe is a game like jetpack, joyride and Temple Run where the player needs to survive for as long as they can and the speed gets faster over time. Except, that in Age of Swipe, the player scores by killing waves of enemies.
There are 4 types of attack and 4 types of enemies. Each type of enemy can only be killed by 1 specific type of attack. The player will have to remember which enemy is weak against which attack and when the wave is getting faster. The more enemies with different weakness can get the player confused, which enemy is weak against which attack.
Interesting part is, instead of using buttons for each attack type, player will have to swipe the screen to execute specific attack. There will be different combos too. For example; if the player swipes down 3 times, player will cast a special meteor rain, which will kill enemies who are weak against meteor rain, in a straight line.
The game has 16 levels with total of 16 enemies (trying to remember their weakness can be a really hard task), which players can repeat each level to beat that level's high score. Player will have to survive for 30 seconds to unlock the next level. Higher level will require the player to survive a little longer.
