[prMac.com] Brignano Gera d'Adda, Italy - PW2, a self employed start-up in Italy, is proud to announce that the company has reached 1,000,000 downloads in last 12 months.
"Thanks to my App "Bar-Code" - says Roberto Sonzogni, founder of PW2, "I have reached this important step.".
The App works as a BarCode scanner but it's a bit different from other similar Apps. It's not for comparing products prices, but it helps you to read what's written in barcodes (formats supported: EAN-8, UPC-E, ISBN-10, UPC-A, EAN-13, ISBN-13, Interleaved 2 of 5, Code 39, QR Code, Code 128, Code 93, Farmacode, GS1 DataBar, GS1 DataBar Expanded, GS1 2-digit add-on, GS1 5-digit add-on, EAN/UPC composite) so you can use the scanned codes in other software. It's the only app that supports the Farmacode format, which is used in Italy for pharmaceutical products.
"I love to receive hints on my Apps from who really is using them. We're working on a brand new version of Bar-Code App" - says again Roberto Sonzogni - "with a new UI/UX and a lot of new features. But PW2 is not just Bar-Code, it also develops apps for air traffic control, games, music, weather, navigation. They also have been involved in big projects like the "Benetton" app, the "Sisley" app and the "Playlife" app. Recently apps are based on the App CMS sync system, a proprietary system for intelligent syncing data from Internet to the apps. Finally Roberto Sonzogni says: "The next app to be released is for business world, can't wait for it!"
