[prMac.com] West Orange, New Jersey - early languages LLC proposes that making 10 minutes count is all it takes to have fun while inspiring kids to start learning a new language. Princesses Learn German(TM) is an application that allows children to use an iPad or iPhone to engage in early language learning that is not just educational, but loads of fun as well.
The app exposes to German words and expressions through stories, games and songs. Franck and Cristina who founded early languages LLC recommend to spend 10 minutes at a time doing fun activities with a child in another language. An app can reinforce what a parent or a teacher do to help children learn a new language. Princesses Learn German is set around a classic fairytale theme utilizing the timeless stories of Snow White, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty. Children are encouraged to enter a magical kingdom with a princess as their guide. Set to a background of inspiring classical music, the app engages children in word-image association, word / expression repetition, and learn-through-play experiences. Flashcards with audio in German are available in the My Cards section of the application.
The Chinese version of the application, Princesses Learn Chinese, was featured in Apple's "What's Hot" list in April 2012. Franck and Cristina think a well-designed app can make it fun for children to start learning languages. What children need is for someone to open the door. Franck and Cristina feel privileged to have the opportunity to do just that.
