[prMac.com] Ha Noi, Viet Nam - Independent developer Ha Trung today is pleased to introduce 3D Faces 1.1 for iOS, his new app that creates an advanced 3D Anaglyph rendering of any portrait photo, which appears in 3D viewed through Cyan-Magenta glasses. The app allows the user to choose a portrait picture or take a new one and transform it into a real 3D representation of the subject's face. The high quality, 3D image created can then be saved and shared email and various social networking sites.
* Easy portrait picture transformed into real 3D visible with Cyan-Magenta glasses
* Adjustable face size and tilt with easy touch controls
* Features easy-to-use, single-tap controls
* Take new photos or access those on device
* Creates real Cyan-Magenta, Anaglyph 3D image with just one photo
* Easy saving and sharing via email, Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram
3D Faces 1.0 presents a generator of authentic 3D Anaglyph portraits. As opposed to some other apps, 3D Faces produces a true variation in depth and dimension that offers the user a real 3D experience. The app creates two overlaid images from the user's picture, one filtered in cyan, and the other in magenta. When the generated photo is viewed with 3D Cyan-Magenta glasses, the brain combines the two filtered images to offer a new and exciting dimension to the original portrait. The resulting photo becomes a lifelike, 3D representation of the subject.
Upon opening 3D Faces, the user is able to choose between adding an existing photo and taking a new one. Once the user takes or chooses a portrait shot of his or her desired subject, the application takes no time in beginning the transformation process to create a genuine 3D image out of the selected picture.
In taking a picture, users have access to their device's high-definition camera technology, allowing for stunningly clear photos. The camera function is available through the app, so the user does not have to switch applications to take the photo. The automatic flash feature is easily available in the upper left hand corner; the device's mirroring camera is accessible, as well, allowing the user easily to create an instant, 3D self-portrait.
Once a suitable picture is taken, a green face-shaped overlay will appear. The user can then move this with the drag of a finger, resize it by gliding two fingers along the screen, or turn the orientation around by sliding two fingers sideways until it fits on the face in the picture. By taking advantage of this feature, the user can apply the 3D process to almost any sized and oriented portrait.
After the user is satisfied with the alignment of the green face overlay, the app creates the 3D photo immediately, without any unnecessary wait time. By clicking Save, the user can then keep his or her new image in the photo album, as well as share it via email, Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram with one easy tap. The user can also click the 'x' button in the upper right hand corner to return to the original screen and create another 3D image.
"The 3D Anaglyphs created on this new app will be like no other pictures users have taken with their devices," says developer Ha Trung. "Their genuine three-dimensional quality provides a unique and thrilling viewing experience."
