April 23, 2009 in Web Design (F)

[] Halifax, Nova Scotia/Canada - Allusions has announced the availability of SunFlower 0.11, the visual monitoring tool. SunFlower 0.11 (Member Edition) contains new features, major interface refinements and better reliability. The 0.11 update includes new features, changes and bug fixes (see the release notes for a detailed summary).

The most notable new feature is the ability to enable or disable plug-ins and JavaScript globally or on a per subscription basis. This release also increases stability with nine bug fixes and a comprehensive inspector window has been added which greatly improves the interface for some tasks. Upgrading to version 0.11 is recommended for all SunFlower users.

SunFlower is a visual monitoring tool primarily used for monitoring web page changes. It displays content changes and provides mechanisms to examine differences. Unlike most web monitoring tools which use html code to determine changes, SunFlower uses web page renderings to compare changes. Dynamic content, such as advertisements, can also be easily be ignored with the straightforward exclusion filter interface.
