[prMac.com] San Diego, California - RWH Technology is pleased to announce that Speech Cards Professional is now compatible with the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. Designed by a speech-language pathologist, Speech Cards helps children with special needs, such as autism, improve their vocabulary, articulation and other communication skills. A Lite version of the app is available so that you may try some of the features before upgrading to the full, Professional version.
Autism is a serious developmental disability in the United States, affecting 1 in 88 children. Every individual with autism has a unique set of goals for improving various life skills, and therefore require a different set of educational materials. Such customizations allow the app to be tailored to the needs of individual students.
The update makes this educational app available to more people. "Not everyone has an iPad", says Robert Harrison, owner of RWH Technology, "By bringing Speech Cards to the iPhone, we hope to help more people improve their speech and language skills, which will have a positive impact on their life."
