[prMac.com] Paris, France - Wild Factor is pleased to announce the release of Duck & Roll 1.12, an update to their popular rhythm game developed for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Now Free with 3 new songs, Duck & Roll tells the story of an ugly duckling with a hankering for rock and roll music. This hugely popular iPhone and iPad app has generated more than 200,000 downloads in its first week.

In Duck & Roll, players don the webbed-feet of a misunderstood duck - raised in a family that appreciates only classical music. Disgruntled by their music choices, the friendly-feathered friend Jeff "The Odd Duck" Duck runs away from home to find his place among the rock-and-roll crowd. Players get to help Jeff worm his way to the rock-and-roll dream, and play some awesome rock music in the meantime.

Duck & Roll users must tap rhythmically through this game on an iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch. Players can earn achievements for their rad rhythmic skills or play against your friends to see who is truly the king or queen of rock. A cool bonus feature of Duck & Roll is that players can even save their games on the iCloud and continue their game from any of their iOS devices!

3 songs has been added in this new version:
* Saints of Silence - Too late
* Saints of Silence - WillFully Blind
* Saints of Silence - Hungry

This is game is fun to play and hilarious to watch, and app critics and reviewers are catching wind of this awesome free app.

Kotaku : "It's a rather nifty little game, if you're into 90's alternative duck rock. There are three difficulty levels to challenge even the nimblest fingers, and more levels on the way, giving fans a chance to chart the further career of Jeff."

IGN: "Cartoon mallards match up with rock & roll music to create an intriguing rhythm action game, available free right now."

Cult for Mac said, "The music is fairly generic, but it doesn't matter. The rock is competent enough to keep tapping through, and the changing mechanics-tap and slide, swipe through, tap super fast in rhythm, is engaging enough to play through the free levels. There are three additional other songs available for $0.99 cents each, or $1.99 for the entire three pack of add-on songs.
It's fun, works on iPhone and iPad, is worth a quick download for free, and has extra stuff you can toss money at if you really like it. What's not to duck, er, dig?"

Duck & Roll is a fun app for all ages. As Smart Apps so cleverly said, "I could ramble on about how this app can help with a child's hand-eye coordination, rhythm etc etc but the bottom line is that it's just plain fun!"
