[prMac.com] Miami, Florida - YourMathGuru is proud to introduce YourMathGuru 1.0 for iOS, now available in the App Store. For students of all ages struggling with math, any tool that can help them with their comprehension and problem solving skills is a good tool. The new app, developed by MateMedia, enables users of the app to connect with math experts, also known as "gurus," for answers to their questions. The gurus are available to help registered members solve math problems, ranging from the highly complex to the routine. With the new app, users have all of the same access from their iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad.
"This App's mission is to provide immediate assistance to individuals who need math help through knowledgeable members - a.k.a. MathGurus - who are ready, willing, and able to offer such help," says YourMathGuru founder Alex Argimon.
YourMathGuru is focused on eight major categories for this first incarnation of their app. Those eight categories are algebra, geometry, trigonometry, analytic geometry, calculus, complex variables, probabilities, and combinatorics. Users have several options, including a comprehensive knowledge base which includes helpful math formulas, and the "Call Guru" option, which puts them in touch with an expert in that given area.
In addition to offering the app to users who need math help, YourMathGuru is also looking for individuals to become gurus willing to help others. To do so, one need only choose the "Become a Guru" option from within the app. The goal of YourMathGuru is to build a worldwide community of math experts whose combined talents can help make math easier for anyone who needs assistance.
