in Medical (E)

[] Raleigh, N.C. - Modality, Inc. and Veterinary Board Games, Inc. today announced the Veterinary Board Review Flash Cards application is available on the Apple App Store. This iPhone and iPod touch app is comprised of hundreds of questions created by veterinarians and veterinary educators to deliver effective, on-the-go review for professional exams such as the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE), Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates candidates, and regional veterinary board exams.

"Studying for the NAVLE and other veterinary board exams is a very time consuming and nerve-racking experience that all aspiring veterinarians must endure," said James Montgomery, DVM, an editor of Veterinary Board Games. "Bringing this comprehensive review material to iPhone and iPod touch allows students to quiz themselves on the wide variety of facts and concepts they need to know to pass the boards, without being tethered to a desktop or textbook."

This application has 360 questions covering all major aspects of major veterinary board exams, including large and small animals, avian and exotics, basic sciences and diagnostics. Specific cards may be customized with notes, and personal study sets may be created by selecting certain cards or topic areas. Assessment tools allow users to track progress and success at any point in the app.

Veterinary Board Review Flash Cards is available for $44.99 from Apple's App Store on iPhone and iPod touch or via iTunes. Compatible with iPhone and iPod touch. Requires iPhone 2.2.1 Software Update.

About Veterinary Board Games, Inc.
Veterinary Board Games is the brainchild of three veterinarians who feel that enjoyment and preparing for board exams need not be mutually exclusive. Our philosophy is that the learning process can be facilitated by adding an element of fun. We have done this by taking core veterinary information away from computer screens and tedious review books, and placing it instead in the palms of students and veterinarians everywhere in a flash card format for quick review in preparation for board and licensing exams. These chunks of information can be read alone by someone who is self-quizzing, or used in groups of 2, 3, 4, or more people in game play.

Modality, Inc. believes every moment can be a learning moment. By taking the most trusted, relevant educational content on the market and reinventing it for the small screen, Modality creates mobile learning applications that fully engage users with the material they need to know.
