Designed to be used by children from school age and up, kids can report their own progress, create wish lists, and even customize their own personal Monsta. Parents control the scope of apps or other rewards offered, and can share feedback about the available content.

Monsta Points includes hundreds of common household tasks that can be assigned (ranging from brushing teeth and doing homework to doing the dishes and taking out the trash) along with delightful rewards built right in to the app.
What makes Monsta Points different from other task managers is that parents can instantly offer real rewards (such as a trip to the park or a movie night) as well as digital rewards in the form of hundreds of apps and games that are hand-picked from the App Store. Or, parents and kids can create their own rewards to suit their needs.
"Using the instant rewards capability of Monsta Points, there is no more hunting around for pocket change or waiting for another day to give your child a well-earned reward - and you can easily reinforce the positive effect of a job well done," said Ellis.
Parents Maintain Complete Control:
All the while, parents are in complete control with Monsta Points. For instance, when offering apps as rewards, parents can choose to see only learning apps, or exclude apps that include in-app purchases (no more surprise charges on mom or dad's credit card).
Additionally, Monsta Points gives parents the opportunity to score the quality of the apps and games used as rewards, and report aggressive advertising or in-app sales. It will be possible to share this information with other families using Monsta Points, so that the extended community can help one another to make smart decisions about app downloads. The Monsta Points website can show a running total of all the Monsta Points collected worldwide. Santa used to be the only one who knew which country has the best-behaved kids!
