[] Fremont, California - Digital Fury is proud to announce the upcoming release of Project Peon for iPad. In Project Peon players can create your own dynamic planetary rover using components such as motors, shock absorbers, and boosters. Project Peon combines free-form physics game-play with fast paced driving action. The goal of the game is to build a rover capable of catching the 'peons' and traversing the terrain to arrive at the shuttle waiting at the end of each. Score is based on speed and how many peons the player can transport to the goal.

Project Peon is a both a vehicular action game and a physic-based puzzle game. Unlike a traditional puzzle games that offer a set number of solutions, Project Peon offers complete creative freedom to the player and rewards experimentation, prompting the player to discover their own solution.

* Unique vehicle building system for creative freedom
* 36 levels across three planets with many more to come in updates
* Varying gravity, environments, and hazards to overcome
* Save your cart creations and load them on any level
* A choice between accelerometer or joystick controls

The Indie Way:
For years the video game industry slowly lulled itself into stagnation. Triple-A companies grew rigid and complacent, satisfied with the success gained from rehashing the same titles year after year. Then a new movement of independent game developers has arose bringing to the industry an infusion of fresh ideas, creativity, and new ways to think about gaming. Today, thanks to the abundance of mobile gaming platforms and third-party services such as Valve's Steam the barrier for entry into the industry is lower than ever. This too however brings its own woes of hundreds of similar games flooding the app stores following a unique title's success.
We hope that Digital Fury will grow to be an innovator on the app stores, bringing games to mobile devices that stand out from the crowd. We hope to see Project Peon as the first in a long line of unique game experiences.

Mark The Date: November 7th 2013 9 am EST! Project Peon will officially be available for iPad in the Apple App store.

Digital Fury is a small independent game development team started by two Jamaican brothers with a passion for gaming and creativity. Ever since we were children who were nave enough to think "writing games" meant scrawling the name of a game on a floppy disk, we've wanted to make games. An unresponsive command-line screen quickly corrected this assumption. Nevertheless, our passion for gaming industry persevered and followed us throughout life. Though there were years when we followed other pursuits we keep getting drawn back to our original passion: the interactive art of video games. Project Peon is the very first game project of anyone on our team. With one of us in art, the other in programming, and joined by a friend in music; we now had the skill and the freedom to create the kind of games we want to play.
