seyDoggy Completes THEME WEAVER Move - 5 More RapidWeaver Themes Ready

July 24, 2009 in Web Design (E)

[] Kitchener, Ontario Canada - RapidWeaver theme developer seyDoggy is excited to release the last five THEME WEAVER themes in their ten theme series. RapidWeaver templates TW006, TW007, TW008, TW009, and TW010 are now exclusively sold and fully supported by seyDesign.

This move completes the transition of all THEME WEAVER themes to seyDesign for distribution. Earlier this year THEME WEAVER and seyDoggy came to a support and distribution agreement that resulted in a transfer of THEME WEAVER's wares to Ontario-based seyDesign, with phase one completed in mid May of this year.

"THEME WEAVER views seyDoggy as the premier third-party RapidWeaver Theme Developer and readily entered into a product development, refinement, support and marketing agreement to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction available to THEME WEAVER RapidWeaver theme purchasers," says THEME WEAVER's Harry Tideman about the arrangement. "In our opinion, no other developer offers a higher level of innovation, build quality and comprehensive product support than those delivered by Adam Merrifield and his dedicated crew at seyDoggy."

With the completion of the THEME WEAVER transition, seyDoggy's commercially available RapidWeaver theme count tops 32.

"It was a no brainer really. I helped create the themes originally," adds seyDoggy Lead Developer Adam Merrifield, "I was already familiar with the code, which makes upgrading and supporting them rather effortless."

One of the highlights of the five newly released themes (each of which has been given a once over by the seyDesign team) is THEME WEAVER's ninth product, TW009, originally released by THEME WEAVER in early 2008. TW009 has been completely rebuilt to include many of the highly sought after features that have come to define the seyDesign brand.

"TW009 was always one of my favourite themes in terms of its potential," says Merrifield, "but the finished product never really thrilled me. I took this opportunity to turn TW009 into the theme I had always dreamt of it being."

TW009 has been extensively upgraded to an Ultimate grade theme, offering users a wide variety of easy-to-use features, including:

* ExtraContent enabled
* 12 customizable headers
* Up to 5 headers can be shown at one time
* Header height adjustment
* RWmultitool ready
* Background textures
* Comprehensive color control
* Width control
* Sidebar width and positioning adjustment

TW009 is the second THEME WEAVER theme enabled with the popular ExtraContent feature, an open source collaborative technology that allows usable content spaces in RapidWeaver (e.g. built-in blog pages, photo albums, Flash slideshows, or iFrame pages) to be extended beyond what the application would normally allow, offering the user additional usable space and, along with that, a wide variety of new opportunities for enhanced creative expression. With ExtraContent, it is now possible to add a personal touch to previously unreachable areas of a page, by adding a lifestream (Twitter, LastFM, Delicious, etc.) below a blog page, adding a Web 2.0 footer to a site's file sharing page, or performing another of the many potential modifications.

Minimum Requirements:
* Mac OS X Version 10.4.11 Tiger or 10.5.2 Leopard
* Universal Binary for PowerPC and Intel
* RapidWeaver 3.6.7 or RapidWeaver 4.x
* RWmultitool Lite Optional

Pricing and Availability:
TW009 Ultimate is available now for $19.49 CAD at seyDoggy's online RapidWeaver theme store.
