Designed for both the casual and competitive gamer, Bowling Paradise 2 offers a traditional bowling game with an exotic twist. Bowling Paradise 2 offers a variety of gameplay modes including single player, one player versus the CPU, and up to 4 players in multiplayer mode. Featuring vivid graphics and a realistic soundtrack, Bowling Paradise 2 provides a choice of 7 different paradise locations including Beach, Space, Desert, Sky Island, Space Challenge, Sci-Fi, and Undersea. Just like the traditional bowling game, Bowling Paradise 2 challenges players to knock down the 10 pins lined up at the end of the bowling alley. There are 10 frames to each game and players attempt to knock down all the pins within each frame. With simple swipe and tilt controls, Bowling Paradise 2 incorporates realistic physics in gameplay. After maneuvering the bowling ball into place, players can send it on its way down the lane towards the pins with a simple swipe. Bowling Paradise 2 offers players the ability to add spin to the bowling ball by swiping left or right and/or tilting the device. Bowling Paradise 2 has two different viewing modes so players can also choose between the camera following the ball or watching the action from two static cameras.
Bowling Paradise 2 includes several enhancements and customizations to make the game more exciting. Players can choose from 10 uniquely designed bowling balls and bowling pins. If all 10 designs are chosen, there is a different ball and pin style for each frame played. At the conclusion of each game, a fireworks display lights up the sky. A higher score results in a more spectacular fireworks display at the conclusion of the game.
Bowling Paradise 2 shows the results including the total score and winner at the end of each game. Bowling Paradise 2 also tracks the number of strikes, spares, and gutter balls. Players can easily share their scores via Facebook, Twitter, or E-mail. A Leaderboard lists the top scorer for each Bowling Paradise 2 location and players can view which Achievements they have earned. Bowling Paradise 2 also allows players to receive and issue challenges to their friends through the Achievements board.
