[prMac.com] Los Angeles, California - HIPZONE Inc., a leading provider of integrated media systems, announced that it has extended its contract to provide an end-to-end content workflow solution to TEN: The Enthusiast Network, publisher of titles such as Motor Trend and SURFING Magazine. The new agreement, which extends the partnership from two to seven years, is unprecedented in its length for a cloud-based software product.
TEN has repositioned its editorial and production operations to reflect a multiplatform brand orientation. The company's digital and print ecosystem now allows for cross-pollination of assets such as video, still images, and articles across brands, events, and social media. Content is much more fluid under this model - stories can be released on blogs or websites before appearing in one or more related print titles.
TEN selected IMP due to the software's inherent support for this new, flexible approach to content development. "IMP enables TEN to implement a digital-first editorial strategy without sacrificing the flexibility to re-use content across publications and platforms," noted Michael Diaz, Digital Content Services Manager. "With IMP in place, brand teams can mix and match content in ways that best suit a particular product or channel at less cost - and in a fraction of the time."

TEN had previously been engaged with HIPZONE to license Integrated Media Planner (IMP) for two years, but sought a longer agreement after testing and running IMP in production.
