[prMac.com] Ostrava, Czech Republic - Craneballs are best known for their Overkill mobile shooter games that focus heavily on guns and their upgrading. While the mobile market for shooters has stiff competition, gun building apps available on the App Store often have questionable quality, yet they are incredibly popular.
Craneballs knew they had the best looking guns on the App Store and decided to give it a try with their Gun Master 3D - as the name suggests the app features 3D gun models; each one can be upgraded with numerous parts. Less than a year later the app has been downlodaded over half a million times on the App Store.
Zero To Minimum Outside Marketing
"Yes, we did cross-promote and shared it on our social pages, but that accounted for about 4 thousands initial downloads. Then it just blew up organically," says Daniel, Marketing Manager for Craneballs. The great success has been achieved purely by having a great app, great looking icon, screenshots and killer keywords.
Gun Master 2 takes the same concept and turns it into a stunning visual treat for every gun lover out there. Completely reworked guns, many new ones that look even more realistic.
"This time we wanted to gamble with the ASO," Daniel added. The gun renders are incredible, and you will not find them in the app. Even still, Craneballs believe the users will not be disappointed.
