[prMac.com] Cupertino, California - TamerZone LLC is pleased to announce today the release of Anagram Tale, a unique word game for iPhone and iPad that combines a not-too-serious adventure story with mixed-up word puzzles. Players read about Doof, a young man who leaves his family's farm to seek adventure, and who is always looking for something to eat (it is no coincidence that his name is "food" spelled backward). As they read about Doof's encounters with criminals, a shipwreck, and more, players must solve anagram puzzles to earn points and proceed in the story.
The main screen in Anagram Tale shows the story. Highlighted words are anagram puzzles. For example, a player might see the sentence, "Doof weaved AMONG trees as he ran from the robbers." Tapping AMONG opens a puzzle-solving window. When the player correctly rearranges the letters (by spelling MANGO in this example), points are awarded and more of the story is revealed. Each solution word is something that solves a problem in the story, or a food for the characters to eat.
Anagram Tale is designed for players age 9 to adult looking for a casual, entertaining word game. There are lots of puns and silly jokes to keep the mood light, and unlimited hints are available so players never get stuck. There are no time limits, ads, or in-app purchases.
* iPhone or iPad
* OS 6.1 or higher
* 21.3 MB
Pricing and Availability:
Anagram Tale 1.0 is priced at $0.99 USD (or a comparable amount in other currencies). It is available exclusively through the App Store in the Games category.
