[prMac.com] San Francisco, California - Indie developer Alaric Cole is slashing the price of his extremely popular translation keyboard, Slated, for the holidays. Normally $4.99, it will briefly go on sale starting on December 17th, for only $0.99, 80% off the normal price.
Slated works like the normal iOS keyboard, but instead of auto completion it shows a bar with the text you wrote in another language. You can enter what you typed, or choose from over 80 languages. The translation is in real time, instantly as you type.
Going even further, Slated empowers you to have a complete conversation in the language of your choice, even if you don't speak it at all. This is due to the one of a kind "reverse" translation feature that lets you translate text that was sent to you. In a typical case, using a messaging app, you can simply copy the text in the chat that was sent to you, and Slated will automatically detect the language and show it translated. In fact, if both parties are using Slated, they could talk in a language that neither of them can speak!
