TapGlance - Photo realistic interior design on your iPad

March 30, 2015 in Lifestyle (E)

[prMac.com] New York City, New York - Black Mana Studios today is proud to announce the release of TapGlance 1.0, its powerful new and intuitive interior design app developed exclusively for iPad tablets. TapGlance lets you create photo-realistic renders of just about any project you have in mind. No prior experience or knowledge of professional 3D software is required.

Typical photo-realistic interior renders usually take days to build and hours to render. It is not rare to see several people laboring over a single render, performing different tasks such as modeling, texturing, lighting and camera setup. Above all, the CAD and 3D software capable of producing such renders usually requires a hefty amount of experience and knowledge. TapGlance produces quick, professional and photo-realistic renders, packaged in a simple, intuitive app that anyone can use.

Start by shaping your floorplan. TapGlance supports anything from a single-room cabin to an entire multi-story apartment. When your floorplan is complete, decorate it with furniture, fixtures and appliances using simple drag and drop; more than 2000 objects are included with the app for free. Drag a material from the 1000+ strong library and drop it on any object. Want to convert that boring white linen armchair into a shiny blue faux-leather throne with white trim and red pillows? No problem.

When your 3D scene is ready, tap a button and bring it to life using cutting edge cloud render technology. The images produced by TapGlance are so real, most people will not be able to tell they were built on a tablet device. In many cases, the results will far exceed even professional 3D applications, with little or no effort on your part.

TapGlance incorporates a physically correct, real-world lighting system. Add a window, and more sunlight pours into your apartment. Shadows, reflections and refractions are all accurately and automatically represented in your scene the same way they would look in real life.

"TapGlance is based on our award winning app 'Interior Design for iPad'," says Aki Yifrach, CEO of Black Mana Studios. "With feedback from tens of thousands of users, and the distinction of TIME magazine's top 50 best apps in the world, we were compelled to push the boundaries and create this next generation interior design experience. Existing Interior Design apps are either too complex for the average user or exhibit sub-par realism. We wanted to create an app that is easy to master, yet provides quick, photo-realistic and professional results."
