WaterField Unveils Distinctive Cases for Apple Pencil, iPad Accessories

March 21, 2016 in Bags and Cases (E)

[prMac.com] San Francisco, California - San Francisco maker, WaterField Designs debuts the elegant and classic Atelier Collection: the Apple Pencil Case and the iPad Gear Case. Each caresses the Apple Pencil within a designated sheath; the Gear Case also stores and transports additional accessories for the new Apple iPad Pro 9.7 inch. The Atelier collection features premium cognac-colored leather with striking red, scratch-free, Ultrasuede(R) lining. Within these new cases, the Apple Pencil is easy to locate and is afforded a luxurious sanctuary equal to the beauty of the Apple tablet. WaterField Designs has been designing and manufacturing custom laptop sleeves, bags, and cases for digital gear in its San Francisco studio since 1998.

"The Apple Pencil is a critical accessory for new iPad Pro users so it needs protection, and users need a consistent place to keep it so it won't get misplaced," explains owner Gary Waterfield. "The luxurious leather and clean lines of the Atelier Pencil Case and the iPad Gear Case make them statement pieces, appropriate for executive meetings or business travel, while fulfilling a critical function."

The Pencil Case is a sleek, hand-cut leather sheath, custom-sized for the Apple Pencil, with a simple leather tab closure and a rear clip for attaching the case to clothing, a bag or an iPad Case. The Apple Pencil slides smoothly into the red Ultrasuede-lined, leather carrier. Available in cognac-colored, full-grain, naturally-tanned leather and precisely stitched, the case will - over time - mold to the shape of the Apple Pencil. The Pencil Case makes a functionally-exquisite style statement.

The iPad Gear Case's premium, cognac-colored leather exterior hides a beautiful and highly functional interior lined with red, scratch-free Ultrasuede(R). The Gear Case holds the Apple Pencil in a scratch-free sheath keeping it protected and handy. Inside the Case, two small pockets can hold the Lightning Adapter, Extra Tip, SD Card Reader, USB Camera Adapter and ear buds. The main compartment stows the Lightning cable and the 12W USB power adapter. A 5W USB power adapter and a .5m Lightning to USB cable can also fit in the main compartment. The thoughtfully-designed functionality of this case is matched by its simple beauty.

These two elegant leather iPad accessories, augment the WaterField Designs iPad Case line, which includes the Suede Jacket sleeve, the Dash Sleeve, the SleeveCase, the Outback Solo and the Travel Express.
