[prMac.com] San Francisco, California - Spontime, a social networking mobile app designed to make spontaneous meetings easy, streamlined, and accessible to users, is positioned to take Europe by storm by providing kids, students, and young adults with a way to quickly assemble an in-person meeting for coffee, lunch, jogging, etc. Similar to America's Down To Lunch app, an old-fashioned approach to facilitating in-person gatherings, Spontime is positioned to surpass DTL through its enhanced scheduling, sophisticated platform that never crashes, and removal of spam to users.
"Spontime takes what DTL set out to achieve, and stretches it even farther by permitting users to make plans up to 2-days from sign in, as well as insight into who joined the activity," said Karolina Demianczuk, Founder and Co-Owner of Spontime. "We want this app to be a personalized approach that is much more targeted and private than posting on a Facebook wall. Friends will be able to collaborate for gatherings personally and quickly, right from their mobile devices."
Founded as a way to focus on real relationships over digital relationships in today's Cyber World, Spontime is targeted at college students, high school students, and young adults who want to save time and frustration messaging each friend individually for a gathering. When Spontime first initially announced its platform, the app received over two thousand download requests in one day.
Already popular in Europe before an official release, the app has garnered a $3.3 million valuation and significant media attention from Forbes and European TV and radio shows, including TVP, TVN Business or ESKA.
"We worked hard to ensure our app does not SPAM users with constant notifications and invites all the time," said Demianczuk. "Unlike DTL, our professionalized approach adds on useful features while removing the incessant notifications and requirements of inviting friends in order to unlock the full functionality. Spread the word on the availability of our app, and get in quick connection with your friends again on Spontime."
The Spontime team consists of six people working hard to bring personality and in-person enjoyment back to the millennial age group. The app is planned to me released in May. For more information, visit Spontime online.
