December 16, 2016 in Mac OSX (F)

[prMac.com] Driftwood, Texas - Carnation Software is happy to announce the release of TM Error Logger 4, their Macintosh Time Machine error reporting program. Get an email notification when there is a Time Machine backup failure. You can also optionally, get an email when backups have not been done for more than one day. Email Notification works with Microsoft Outlook as well as Apple's Mail app. Works with macOS Sierra.

Do you get those Time Machine Error alert messages and wonder why? Would you like to find out exactly what caused the error so you can do something about it (or just ignore it)? Don't want to wait for a week or more to find out that your backup has failed? Run TM Error Logger and you will get a report showing which file or folder caused the error. Click on "Open Problem Folder" to reveal the folder containing the problem.

TM Error Logger will poll the system log every 30 minutes looking for Time Machine Errors. You can update the report immediately by clicking "Current Log." Leave TM Error Logger running 24/7 and it can send an email to you when Time Machine gets an error or has not backed up for more than a day.

Note: Version 3 is available for older Mac OS X versions.

System Requirements:
* Require macOS Sierra 10.12 or later

Pricing and Availability:
TM Error Logger 4 is just $5.00 USD (or an equivalent amount in other currencies) and is available from the Carnation Software website.
