[prMac.com] Cedar Park, Texas - Texas-based Mobile market leader, WebIS Inc. has announced a major update to its Calendaring/To Do application for the iPhone, Pocket Informant. This release adds push alarms, calendar filtering, automatic sync, optional mini-text-in-month view, landscape support, further integration of To Do's on calendar views, improved performance and stability, and much more. Pocket Informant offers Calendaring and To do management in one easy to use application and is the premiere Personal Information Manager for iPhone, Windows Mobile, and BlackBerry devices.

Our purpose is to integrate best-of-class calendaring with best-of-class tasks together into one great iPhone app. Pocket Informant 1.0 was completely redesigned from the ground up for the iPhone/iPod Touch and offered users a truly unique solution for managing their daily activities. Building on that foundation, version 1.11 adds a host of new features and improvements that further solidify Pocket Informant's lead.

Alex Kac, CEO explains "We are already hard at work to deliver direct Outlook and iCal sync via WiFi in an upcoming release of Pocket Informant. We understand how important it is for many people to have a direct-to-desktop syncing option and we can't wait to get this feature into the hands of our customers."
