Horizon 1.2.7 for Mac Now Available from Lucerne Systems

September 25, 2007 in Financial (F)

Oakville, Ontario, CANADA - Horizon Version 1.2.7, the latest version of the unique calendar-based personal financial management system is now available for download. In addition to the patent-pending calendar-based interface, Horizon 1.2.7 contains a number of new features and bug fixes.

Users can now add their own holidays to the calendar, and the smart cells are now context-aware, and show the date of the cell when used in a function. Horizon has been designed exclusively for Mac OS X, and uses many features unique to OS X 10.4 (Tiger).

Horizon lets you organize your different incomes and expenses into categories, and then quickly set up repeating values in those categories. Horizon can repeat values daily, on weekdays, weekly, biweekly, and monthly.

Horizon uses familiar Mac UI elements, such as drag-and-drop to move or copy values, context sensitive menus, animation, help in the form of an Apple Help book, and a toolbar for commonly used functions.

Horizon stands as an alternative to check-book register-based systems and spreadsheets for people who want a simple, free-form way to budget and plan their finances.

Horizon is available for immediate download as a 30-day trial version, and a single-user license costs only $29.95 US.
