[prMac.com] Brooklyn, New York - Opetopic presents IsoWords, the iPhone's first word search game wrapped onto a cube, and quite possibly the most gorgeously designed word game on the platform, now available in the iTunes App Store. Connect letters on the faces of the cube to form words, but watch out... the third time a letter is used, its cube is removed! "It will throw your mind into a loop once you see all the possibilities for making words on the cube," says Brandon Williams, creator and programmer of IsoWords.
Whether you are new to word games, or an expert in Boggle, Scrabble, Bookworm, and their variants, you will have no problem jumping into IsoWords and striving to find the longest possible words. Drag your finger along the cube, or tap each letter individually, to form words. The score of a word is determined by both the length of the word and the rarity of its letters in the English language (think Scrabble-like scoring). You can choose to play against the clock for one to five minutes, or you can kick back and take your time in "free play" mode, and just play until all cubes are removed.
Not content with you being the only one aware of your prowess in the English language? Take your skills public and challenge friends to beat your scores on Facebook, Twitter or email. A simple link will be posted to your account, allowing any of your friends or followers to open IsoWords directly to your puzzle and play. Word lists and scores will be compared at the end.
