[] Paris, France - Independent developer Stephane Queraud has announced The Pill 1.0 for iPhone devices. Hundreds of girls are already using The Pill. Available in English, French or Russian, The Pill is a birth control pill reminder for iphone. This application, 100% for girls, sends a push notification alert (like a sms) every day to remember to take the pill, days are automatically calculated (21 days and the 7 days stop period). A graphical representation of the tablet also help the user to see how their real tablet should look like.

Ask this simple question to any girl: "Have you ever forgot to take your birth control pill?" the answer is almost always yes. The Pill is here to help them. The Pill is very simple to use, and offer a lot of informations: count down showing when will be the next notification, a full graphical representation of the tablet, advices of what to do if ever a pill has been forgotten. Another little advice we like to give: take your pill in the morning, if ever you forget, it won't be too late to take it during the day (it's often more than 12 hours late if you forget to take it in the evening). Keep in mind that you need to enable the push notifications on your phone and be connected on internet.
