[prMac.com] UK, Europe - 30 October 2007 - DssW, the leading developer of Mac energy saving software, today announced free Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) updates to its software. Power Manager, Sleep Monitor, and Energy Schedule have been updated to support Mac OS X 10.5.
"Our users are early adopters and environmentally conscious. DssW's updates ensure that they can continue to save energy while adopting Apple's latest operating system." said Graham Miln, DssW's director.
Power Manager 3.7 helps schools and businesses reduce their carbon footprint. Users can schedule their Macs to start up or wake, shut down, restart, log out, switch to the login window, wake, and sleep.
Sleep Monitor 2.1.2 audits and aids trouble-shooting a Mac's energy and power usage. Sleep Monitor gathers information over days, weeks, and months to build a complete picture of a Mac's energy use. It records information about battery levels, recharging rates, and periods of sleep, shut down, and use.
Energy Schedule 1.0.1 is a free Dashboard Widget that reveals the computer's queued power events. Software applications use power events to aid automation and schedule changes in the computer's power state, such as waking from sleep or switching off.
