Mireth Technology releases iVCD 3.2 - Enhances Support for AVI Files

[prMac.com] Vancouver, Canada - Mireth Technology Corp. has released a new version of iVCD, its Mac OS X video burning software. iVCD is an easy to use, full featured DVD, VCD and SVCD authoring software for Mac that can burn DVD, VCD, SVCD and more from most video formats such as iMovie and Quicktime movie files, as well as from AVI, Divx, WMV and Xvid. iVCD was designed specifically to be both full featured and easy to use, so that users can enjoy a full range of digital video authoring features all in one software product.

Originally designed to burn VCDs, iVCD has evolved to include burning SVCDs and now DVDs. Version 3.2 of iVCD, addresses the following:

* Better support for AVI input files containing WMAPro audio
* Adds more robust error checking when converting to MPEG
* Improvements to the User Interface
* Automatically removes watermark from existing projects created with demo version when full version purchased

Besides its ease of use, iVCD also offers many unique features, such as maintaining a project folder so that a project can be made in stages and so that additional copies of a project can be made without having to start again from the input files. iVCD also offers Video Rescue features to correct video that's too dark, as well as to correct video that appears cropped on a TV screen. In addition, iVCD allows the user to make specialty video such as looping disks for use in Kiosks and retail outlets, hybrid movie/music VCDs, and VCDs that will Autorun on Windows.
