Apple Chooses to Feature App - Developer responds with Free Giveaway

Oct 19, 2011 - This week, Apple has chosen to feature Mystic Compass in the "New" section for the Navigation Category on the iTunes App Store. In response, the developer, Techno Gurus, Inc., is giving away free copies for a limited time. Mystic Compass is a fortune telling app, similar, but much more sophisticated than the old "Magic 8 Ball", with some amazing visual effects to boot and a sound clip "Easter Egg" that is easily found by the savvy iOS user.

More than just a compass that can talk to you and announce each new heading you take on in the 8 major directions. There is also fortune teller built in. Ask a question, spin the wheel and wait for your answer. The unique thing about this app though is over 20 different mystic compass objects to choose from and the patterns and animations revealed when you spin them at certain speeds. It's a little addictive.


iBrr v2.1 update approved for release by Apple

Sep 27, 2011 - Florida-based Techno Gurus, Inc. has released version 2.1 of their popular iBrr Bluetooth Receiver and Remote app. iBrr Bluetooth Receiver and Remote is a great replacement for the built-in music player as well as having the ability to be remotely controlled by another iOS device running the app. There's a swipe mode so you don't have to look at the screen to pause, adjust volume or skip a track - great for the car or jogging. Version 2.1 adds a few new features and fixes several bugs.
