[prMac.com] Seattle, Washington - DistinctDev, Inc. today has just announced "Food Fight", the 4th section of their hilarious and wildly popular brain teasing iPhone game, The Moron Test. In keeping with their philosophy of adding great free content updates, the DistinctDev team has added over 45 free questions with more than 100 steps on both the iPhone and Android platforms.
The Food Fight section introduces many more of the features that players have come to love about the series. There are awesome new characters (including a "Dow", a dog-like cow), hilarious question types, and challenging new game mechanics. "Our biggest requests from fans are for new sections, leaderboards and randomized tests. We've added them all!" says Mike Monaco, Co-Founder and COO of DistinctDev. The iPhone version now includes all new global leaderboards, achievements, and an "Extra Credit" series of mini-games that generate random questions to test speed, memory, and reflex.
The Moron Test has remained in the top 100 overall paid apps on the iTunes App Store for over 450 days and it has reached the top 20 paid Android games since launching on that platform in May. "Having developed Facebook apps for years, we've learned to harness virality to drive sales. Players love sharing The Moron Test, so we're excited about enabling this sharing across platforms." says Steven Malagon, Co-Founder and CTO of DistinctDev. "According to Flurry, only 5% of mobile developers support their games on both Android and iPhone. We're proud to part of that group. Our goal is to let everyone enjoy The Moron Test, regardless of their mobile platform, with as much feature parity as possible."
Food Fight is the most ambitious update so far for The Moron Test. "We love that our seasoned players are becoming more and more familiar with our sense of humor, but they're also getting savvy to our tricks", says Berkeley Malagon, President and CEO of DistinctDev. "This is by far the hardest section we've ever created. At this point, we have to stump players who think just like us!"
