[prMac.com] London, United Kingdom - Immunity Studios today is pleased to introduce their new, try before you buy game, NinjaGuy 1.0 for iOS, where players control NinjaGuy, an arrogant, wisecracking Ninja assassin. Featuring exciting bosses, environments, swordplay, and quests, the game has been designed as a step on the path for each player to realize their inner Ninjaness. Always ready with a quick verbal taunt or a dose of subtle Ninja wisdom, the hero battles many foes in this episodic, single-player action game. The humorous dialogue is central to the gaming experience, each character having their own overly dramatic delivery of lines, which also appear onscreen as subtitles. NinjaGuy is an ideal, fast-paced game for those who may truly be ready to master the skills necessary to achieve Ninjahood.
Everyone knows that to become a true Ninja, one must defeat a giant Minotaur. This particular Minotaur has hidden himself behind a horde of jungle creatures, a hog kingdom, and a legion of skeletons and mini-taurs. Enter NinjaGuy, the newest of Cow Sensei’s students. Players can join him on this funny, fast paced, action adventure by downloading Ninja Guy for iOS. And be sure to stop off at McJungle’s, (by that skeleton-infested graveyard) and buy a wheatgrass burger for Billy, Cow Sensei’s Holy Nephew. NinjaGuy battles through a varied set of environments, from a peaceful training village to a hell-like demon world.
In its graphics & animation, game physics, and controls NinjaGuy is a most console-like action adventure game that allows players to battle up to 25 enemies simultaneously. According to Mel Georgiou of Immunity Studios, "NinjaGuy has been designed to merge console-like gameplay and depth with the simplicity of the iPhone, while taking advantage of some unique iOS features, such as the ability to swipe your fingers in 3D space to throw ninja stars, as well as a real-time, customizable, touch UI."
From a 3/4 overhead view, the camera follows NinjaGuy wherever he moves. Players control his movement with a floating joypad that moves him horizontally and vertically. The position of the control is adjustable on the left side of the screen. On the right side are three action buttons: Attack, Whirlwind, and Jump that can also be repositioned in real-time without affecting gameplay. In addition, the hero can throw Ninja stars when the player swipes their finger across the screen, while the innovative "screen-to-space" Shuriken engine calculates the user's intended target in 3D space regardless of camera angle, offering near pixel-perfect touch accuracy. The gameplay is fast, action based, and displays NinjaGuy's balance, accuracy, stamina, and strength. Hundreds of enemies can be killed in less than a minute.
