Folx 2.0 release - New features for Download Manager and Torrent Client

[prMac.com] Bellevue, Washington - Eltima Software today is pleased to announce the official release of Folx 2.0, which was in Beta mode till today. New version kept all functionality of version 1.X and has multiple new features added for convenient and easy downloading of common files and torrent content.

iTunes integration is one of the fresh features added. Thanks to it all downloaded music and videos can automatically go to iTunes playlists with the names after the tags assigned to those downloads.

Also new Folx allows downloading files attached to your RSS feeds. Just add the RSS feed to Folx and you'll be able to either manually choose the files for download or Folx can download certain attachments automatically according to the parameters you specify. You can of course schedule your RSS downloads in Folx.

Files management system of Folx was renovated too. Now it also features creation of smart groups that unite certain files according to the chosen criteria. Automatic tagging was added to Folx additionally to manual tagging of downloads. What does this mean? It means you can set the needed parameters for each tag and when the next download starts, Folx will assign the corresponding tags to download tasks that match the criteria. In this way you will never experience any issue finding the downloaded files even if they were downloaded long ago.

Among other enhancements: possibility to define the file types which will be downloaded by Folx; possibility to prioritize files in one download task when downloading multi-file content; additional seeding options when seeding torrents, and other catching things that you might want to try and will definitely like.

Folx is actually 2 in 1: a download manager and a torrent client. It is offered in two versions: Free and PRO. Free Folx provides its users with the essential functionality: splitting the downloads in two threads, auto-resuming of interrupted downloads, prioritizing download tasks, manual control over download and upload speed, etc.
