[prMac.com] Blieskastel, Germany - Free Advent Calendar App: appsforsale launches major discount campaign. Adults deserve a Christmas gift as well: Users of the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad can now start looking forward to the Advent Season. Vieda - the business association for German iOS developers - is launching its huge Christmas discount campaign for the third time.

In the spirit of the holidays, many App developers are sharply cutting prices for their best Apps "Made in Germany" for one day in December. All users who keep an eye on their digital Advent Calendar can purchase high-quality Apps at bargain basement prices. Discounts of up to 50% or more will be offered, with average savings on all Apps to total around half the normal price. These discounts will be available for selected Apps on the day users open the virtual Advent Calendar door. English versions of all the Apps can be purchased as well at the App Store, of course, and many are also available in various other languages.

Says appsforsale CEO Hanno Welsch: "We've got more Apps lined up this year than ever before. There will be at least three Apps available at substantially reduced prices every day from December 1-24. That adds up to more than 70 great deals, including many on Apps that have cost the same for months and have never been on sale."

Overview in brief:
* Vieda is the business association of German iOS developers
* The organization currently has 168 members
* Major Advent Calendar Campaign from December 1-24, 2011
* Minimum of 3 Apps (iPhone and iPad) on sale every day
* More than 70 items with sharply reduced prices
* Savings of up to 50% and more
* Free 2011 Advent Calendar App now available

The Apps hidden behind the doors will remain a secret. Anyone looking for a bargain should therefore be sure to install the free "Advent Calender" universal App, which will allow them to open the doors to reveal the discounted Apps every day on the calendar.
