With many homeschooling families receiving iPads and iPod touch devices as gifts over the holiday season and purchasing them for the upcoming new school semester, homeschoolers are eager to learn about the best educational apps available. "As a homeschooling mom myself, I understand how busy homeschoolers are. The App Store is huge and it can be difficult to find the apps that best meet specific educational goals. Our site is designed to make it simple for home educators to find the apps they need when they need them along with our personal, first-hand experiences using the apps together as a homeschooling family," shared Jennifer Bogart.
"It's going to be a new year and a new semester. Families have new devices from holiday gift-gving and are eager to add some new educational apps to their libraries! Many new families have joined us on Facebook this past week, and site traffic has never been higher," Bogart noted. "I can't help but feel that same excitement as I look forward to the new educational apps that will be released in 2012."
Apps for Homeschooling was founded in August 2011 by Jennifer Bogart - a homeschooling mother of four children (1-8 years) - to share objective, detailed, educational app reviews with busy home educators. Since going live on August 23rd, 2011 the site has experienced exponential growth in both content, reach, and traffic. Apps for Homeschooling currently contains over 100 reviews sorted by grade, subject, device, and price; making it easy for homeschoolers to find the apps they need to fill the educational needs of their children.
