Welcome to The Emerging Media Conference- The Keynote for The Rest of Us
January 19, 2012 in Announcements
[prMac.com] Los Angeles, California - The 2012 Emerging Media Conference is proud to present Apple Computer Company Co-founder and serial entrepreneur, Ronald G. Wayne as keynote speaker Wednesday January 25 at 9:00 AM at the Hotel Kabuki (in Japantown), 1625 Post Street, San Francisco, CA. Josh Rizzo, Co-Director of the hit documentary "Welcome to Macintosh" will moderate a special Question and Answer session with Wayne, followed by an open Q&A with the Audience.
The Emerging Media Conference brings thousands of the most prominent decision-makers in the social, mobile, and game industry together to network, discover upcoming products and services, and share ideas about the future of emerging media technologies.
Wayne is best known as the pivotal 3rd founder of the Apple Computer Company and will discuss his experiences in Product Design, Engineering, Socioeconomics, and his lifetime of creativity.
In keeping with the theme of the Emerging Media Conference and to set the tone for the rest of the event, Ronald Wayne will answer questions about an incredible range of technology inspired topics.
The documentary Welcome to Macintosh reintroduced Ron Wayne back into the main stream consciousness of Apple fans across the globe. The keynote presentation at the Emerging Media Conference comes on the heels of a number of interviews Wayne has conducted including those with CNN, Bloomberg, Fox News, BNN, CBS and CNBC.
Steve Wozniak, inventor, entrepreneur, and co-founder of Apple Inc. contributed the foreword to Wayne's autobiography, Adventures of an Apple Founder. In an August 26, 2011 interview with Bloomberg TV, Wozniak is quoted as saying, "Ron is one of those people... He doesn't look back with regret. Your mind was working well and making the right decisions for the way you think at that point in time, and that was part of what made him credible to Steve and I. It's a type of integrity. I was sorry to see him leave."
Adventures of an Apple Founder offers a never before told story about the man whose passion for engineering and design spans nearly three quarters of a century. Wayne holds a dozen patents, has worked in aerospace engineering, at revolutionary video game maker Atari, and has spent the better part of his life in pursuit of a long time passion - building Las Vegas style gaming machines.
