[prMac.com] Moscow, Russia - Open Name Ltd. announced that their hit game for the iPhone, Cut the Buttons, will be going free for one week starting today.
The game, which has both an iPhone and iPad version, has been incredibly successful since its release, quickly becoming the number one iPad game in Russia, as well as one of the top ten iPad games in China's App Store.
The concept is deceptively simple: using a pair of scissors, users must snip and cut buttons on pieces of fabric, and catch them in a cup. Players get bonus points or extra lives for every hundred buttons that land in the cup. However, as the scraps of cloth carrying the buttons fly across the screen, players also have to make sure they're not trying to snip off the buttons attached by a bolt. Leaving more than three buttons on a cloth will end the game.
Featuring two different modes of play, Arcade and Classic, the game also boasts a multiplayer option, allowing you and friend to simultaneously cut buttons as they appear on the screen.
This special offer will only last for one week, so gamers are encouraged to go check it out as soon as possible.
