Jumsoft Updates Both the Desktop and iPhone Versions of Money

March 14, 2012 in Financial

[prMac.com] Vilnius, Lithuania - Jumsoft, a developer of high-quality applications for Mac OS X, is continuing its series of updates to its most popular product, the business and finance tool Money. This week sees the release of improved desktop and iPhone versions of Money. The new desktop version, 4.2, features restored multiple budgets, while enhancements to Money 2.3 for iPhone include various user interface improvements, increased speed, and a number of fixed bugs.

Money was first released in 2003, and has since become extremely popular with both small business and home Mac users. Fans of Money appreciate its high usability and the ease of financial management that it provides. Money allows users to track transactions to and from their wallets, bank accounts, and share trading accounts; it also enables them to plan budgets and monitor actual spending, manage bills, and generate income/expense reports. The latest updates mean that users of Money 4.2 are able to create multiple budgets, which have been significantly improved since their removal in v4.0. The updated budgeting has also been expanded to the iPhone version.

Algirdas Unguvaitis, the general manager of Jumsoft, has said, "We have experimented with a simplified version of budgets, which was well received by new users. However, Money's loyal users really missed the multiple budget possibility, which is why we ended up with a combination of our traditional approach and several successful elements of the version 4.0 budgets. The same combination is also used in the updated Money for iPhone."

Besides the enhanced budget feature, Money 4.2 contains improved data importing, faster operations, an expanded list of financial institutions that are supported for direct downloads, improved syncing, and a number of fixed bugs. Among other fixes and major interface enhancements, Money 2.3 for iPhone now features improved data transfers and increased speed.

Money is available for trial on Jumsoft's website and for purchase on the Mac App Store. Money for iPhone is available for purchase on the iTunes App store.
