Beach-Rak Medicine Releases Free App to Treat Kidney Failure

Available today, Master Diagnostician Series: Acute Kidney Injury - Free 1.0 will give physicians and medical students a new tool in treating one of the most common, but deadly conditions hospitalized patients face. Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) is a significant cause of morbidity in patients due to the great impact of these important organs on the rest of the body. Unfortunately, because the causes of AKI can be vast, the diagnosis is often elusive. Now, an application available on both iphone and android platforms, may be able to help students and doctors come to a faster and more complete diagnosis.

To educate health care professionals in this important matter, Beach-Rak Medicine LLC has developed its next installment of the Master Diagnostician Series: Acute Kidney Injury. What makes this program unique is that while many of the current apps about kidney diseases will publish guidelines only, this app gives insight into how a nephrologist actually makes a diagnosis. The first algorithmic smartphone program of its kind, Acute Kidney Injury takes the user through a series of questions aimed at distinguishing the many subtleties of the different AKI etiologies. These diagnoses are also separated into categories for more rapid access to the pertinent information.
