AirBeam is an universal app for iPhones, iPads and iPods that streams live video and audio from the built-in cameras in amazing quality on a WiFi or 3G network. The stream can be watched on other iDevices, Macs or with a standard web browser. AirBeam can run simultaneously on any number of devices, enabling flexible multi-camera and multi-monitor configurations.
AirBeam 1.5 now adds a new option for video streaming in HD 720p quality. Together with the new iPad's high resolution retina display and the high quality camera, this creates a video surveillance experience with a level of detail not seen before.
But not only owners of the new iPad benefit from the upgrade: The new HD video codec significantly improves the video quality and frame rates also on devices with lower resolution screens.
