[prMac.com] Barcelona, Spain - A new chapter for the Pedia programs begins today. With Pocketpedia 3 back in the App Store users can sync their DVDpedia, Bookpedia, CDpedia and Gamepedia collections to their mobile devices once more, allowing users to take their media along right in their pockets.
Handy at the store to remember which titles to buy, comfy on the couch to browse a collection and quick to find new titles on Doghouse, the Pedias' own online database. Users can move entries, search their collections, assign stars and mark entries as borrowed, returned or purchased. They can create new collections and sort them by title, director, author, artist or platform.
Pocketpedia 3 lets users search Doghouse, the Pedia programs' own online database built by and for Pedia users. Thanks to the contributions from many Pedia users, Doghouse has grown spectacularly and provides a great search platform for Pocketpedia 3.
Pocketpedia 3 is available on the App Store and requires iOS 4 or higher on the iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. Of course Pocketpedia 3 supports retina display on the iPhone 4 and the new iPad.
