in Books (E)

[prMac.com] Mumbai, India - On the occasion of the 67th anniversary of VE Day (Victory in Europe Day) which marked the end of World War II in Europe, Internet Design Zone, an iOS app developer company, has reduced the price of its very popular iPad app 'World War II Interactive' from USD 4.99 to USD 2.99 just for two days, May 7 and May 8. World War II Interactive is a very comprehensive app on the biggest war in human history. It covers all the major battles and events in every theater of WW2 with stunning photos, videos, articles, timelines and speeches.

The iPad app, World War II Interactive, was released in late 2011 and had then reached the top 10 charts in USA in the books category in the App Store. It has been rated as one of the best iPad apps by Gizmodo.com, one of the most popular technology websites. Gizmodo editor Casey Chan wrote in his review, "I'm a history buff, so I love this stuff. The quality of the content is really good too - for those who don't like history, I think it makes it interesting enough with multimedia to keep you interested. What's especially great about World War II Interactive is that the app provides you with rare pictures and videos you've probably never seen before (unless of course, you're a big WWII buff)".

The 40% price reduction is only for couple of days to mark the anniversary of VE day. The app will return back to its original price on May 9. This is an excellent chance for World War II enthusiasts to grab the app at a lower price.

This is what iPhoneLife Magazine had to say about the World War II app: "This interactive app is perfect for students, teachers, veterans, or history buffs." The app has received rave reviews from different app review websites and also on the App Store. Couple of snippets from the App Store reviews: "There is no other way to put it for a history buff like myself but Awesome." and "This is a first-rate app by any standard! I am a hardcore WWII enthusiast and LOVE this app." Aayush Arya, Apps Co-Editor at TheNextWeb, in his review wrote, "If you're a WWII enthusiast, we say go for it."

The app has been used by History teachers to teach about WWII to their students. There have also been volume purchases at educational pricing by some schools. Internet Design Zone is happy with the response the app has generated so far and hopes that the app will continue to be loved by everyone in the future as well.
