[prMac.com] Hyderabad, India - Alphabet Tutor (iPhone/iPod touch) is a fun educational and entertainment app for children to learn the letters of the alphabet. Developed by QteqInfo, Alphabet Tutor is two apps wrapped into one. The educational app can play the alphabet song to children and it also helps them practice drawing the letters directly on the iPhone.
App Features:
* Support for 5 (English, French, German, Russian & Arabic) language alphabets.
* Both the Upper & Lower case alphabets are supported.
* Works in both landscape & portrait modes.
* Play Alphabet song or practice Alphabets.
* Feedback is provided with Sound & Animation for the alphabet traced.
* Choice is present to have the sound on/off, color of the alphabet tracing pencil along with 5 language Alphabet Tracing & Song support.
How to use:
The alphabet song at start-up is completely optional so children or parents can skip it to practice their writing skills. The song can also be played from with in the app.
Once children are ready, a little butterfly floats across the letter to help guide them.
Children then must trace the upper or lowercase letter with their finger by following the direction of the butterfly.
The default pencil color is a bright green, but children have the option to change it to a different color by touching one of the colored pencils on the side of the screen or parents can change the default color in the options menu.
Tapping the Test button provides children with constructive feedback. The language oriented voice lets children know if they can do better or if they did an awesome job tracing the letter. Children can then touch the next or previous buttons to continue tracing or redraw the current letter to practice writing it.
App Summary:
Alphabet Tutor is an excellent way for children to practice writing and learning the letters of the alphabet. Five different languages are supported by this app making it useful to children around the world. One can check out "Alphabet Tutor Lite" to try the app out for free.
