[prMac.com] Sandy, Utah - infiniteNIL today announces Phone Word 3.0 for iOS, an update to their remarkably useful Social Networking app, which generates words that a phone number spells out. For example, commercials frequently make a phone number memorable by saying, "Call 355-DUNK to buy basketball tickets," rather than the more mundane 355-3865. Users simply enter any phone number and the app generates a list of possible, mnemonic phone words. Phone words are easily saved, and users may add custom words to the app's built-in 26,000 word dictionary.
It is often difficult to procure a memorable phone number. Phone Word solves the problem by discovering the memorable phone number users may already have without knowing it. After entering the digits of a phone number, the app generates a list of possible phone words. Of the dozens of choices, one usually jumps out as the perfect choice. Once a user has chosen a phone word to stand-in for a phone number, it can be easily saved for easy retrieval, dialing, and accessing its corresponding contact person.
Phone Word makes is easy to share newly minted phone words via integrated email, Facebook, Twitter, etc. connectivity. Instantly, phone numbers become easier to remember. Lending the app the ultimate in personalization, is the ability to add custom words to its lookup dictionary. Add the names of brands, pets, places, slang, personal monikers, jargon, technical terms, foreign words, acronyms, and more to generate phone words that are so appropriate, the phone number appears especially made for that contact.
