Unlike many reading programs, Phonics And Reading With McGuffey requires very little teaching skill from the person administering the program to the student. Lessons are systematic and carefully structured.

This new version has multiple user support. Up to 10 students can have separate bookmarks and program settings. Also in this version are performance and interface improvements.
