Find Facilities along the way - Improve Trip Plan, Save Time and Money

[prMac.com] Sydney, Australia - Telkitty Digital is pleased to announce this week that a new version of iiFind has come out recently. Built with saving money, time and petrol by better planning trips in mind, this iPhone app utilizes the mobile phone's GPS and map functionalities, it is able to suggest a route between an indicated starting point and a destination and find restaurants, ATM machines, petrol stations along or near the route for up to 200 kilometres.
Search results can either be displayed on the map or in a list format. Users are able to view search results in details - phone number and website will be displayed when the detail button is clicked on any search result when the corresponding pin is tapped. Contact the facility through the phone or find out more information on the website before visiting. Current location is updated when the current location mode is selected or the route search mode is on and either start location or the end location is selected to be the current location, so you are able to estimate how far the target establishment is from you.
"There are a few apps that enable the users to find restaurants, petrol stations and ATMS near certain locations." says company's CEO Yi, Who is also behind the development of the app, "but this app takes a step further and suggest a route between indicated starting point and destination or the next stop point and search for all the interested facilities on the way for you. So why take a detour nearby? Maybe there is a store or petrol station down the road on the way" she remarks.
New in this version, now users are able to save and reload the results from a previous search. Filter function is added in this version so users can search through results for a particular facility or particular type of facilities. Also in beta phase, the app displays visual and voice alert when a target is set and the screen is active. Together with Find a Store, this series of apps have already raked up nearly two thousand downloads in the past few months. The app has seen an increase in usages recently.
