FarmYard Piano for iPad hits the right note with kids

July 2, 2012 in Education

[prMac.com] London, United Kingdom - Moonpans Apps today is pleased to announce the release and immediate availability of FarmYard Piano 1.0, its new children's educational title developed specifically for iPad devices. FarmYard Piano is a very simple to use, single screen app based in a farmyard. The child just needs to select an animal from the top menu, then play that animal's sound on the keyboard below. The sounds span 7 musical notes from C to B and can be set to a single animal - pigs, cows, sheep, ducks, or for a very fun result, a mixture of all 4!

Making full use of the iPad's, multi-touch feature, many animals can be played at the same time or played in quick succession such as running your finger up and down the keyboard. The app has been designed to give young children a strong audio and visual reaction, as whenever an animal is touched not only will you hear its sound, but it will also animate as it pushes out its oink, moo, baa or quack.

Several age groups will enjoy FarmYard Piano, from babies who will enjoy the audio and visual reactions, toddlers who like making as much noise as possible, to older piano savvy children who will be able to play simple tunes, but would prefer to Baa, Baa Black Sheep using actual sheep rather than a boring old piano!

Supported Languages:
FarmYard Piano supports US English, Chinese, Czech, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, and Turkish languages.

Device Requirements:
* Compatible with iPad
* Requires iOS 4.0 or later
* 8.9 MB

Pricing and Availability:
FarmYard Piano 1.0 is only $0.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Education category.
