Algoriddim's djay Supports New Retina Display for MacBook Pro

in Music and Recording

[prMac.com] Munich, Germany - Algoriddim, creators of the popular djay apps for Mac, iPhone and iPad, today announced the optimization of its djay software to support the Retina display on Apple's newest MacBook Pro. The software update will offer a sharper, visually crisper and more realistic music-mixing experience. In addition, djay takes advantage of the newly launched Mac operating system Mountain Lion that supports AirPlay, where users can stream their audio creations to any AirPlay-enabled speakers or Apple TV.

Officially unveiled on June 11 during the 2012 Apple Worldwide Developers Conference keynote, the latest MacBook Pro features a stunning Retina display with 2880 x 1800 pixels (or 220ppi). In addition to higher resolution, the next-generation MacBook Pro boasts greater contrast and viewing angles and reduced glare compared to other laptop displays.

djay is among the first apps to be fully enhanced to support the Retina display on the next-generation MacBook Pro. Users will notice a greater level of detail and color saturation due to the higher resolution and generous viewing angles available making the overall experience much more realistic.
